déCollage is the name of one of Reed Cameron Fox & Ben Weirich's bands; a kaleidoscopic avant-pop project creating space for imagination. They've brought their playful surrealism to stages shared with of Montreal, Dan Deacon, Animal Collective, and Deerhoof since their inception in 2009. In 2020, their collaborations with Naytronix from tUnE-yArDs were released in the form of two music videos. Blurring barriers, at Red Rocks & Meow Wolf they handed out a seemingly infinite supply of googly eyes while Max Geimer fed oysters to the audience. Lzr Dave (Ben Weirich) has been around music for his entire life. Growing up in a house with two professional musicians as parents, he began his lifelong journey into music at the age of three, learning to play violin. Since then, Ben has become a versatile and mature guitarist, bass guitarist, upright bassist, drummer, and keyboardist. Since moving to Colorado in 2010, he's played regularly around the front rage area, freelancing and as a founding member of more than ten bands, many of which have toured extensively around the US. Listening to him live or on record, one can expect to be taken to many places, experience real emotion and be swept up by the vast universe of multi genre knowledge at his fingertips. Reed is a DJ & founder of Moon Magnet Studios. When Reed isn’t Lego-ing, he’s trying to make déCollage’s upcoming record sound like an underwater bouncy castle with Ben or inventing things like the Oysterizer {an oyster back massager}.
