STORY
In 2019, déCollage teamed up with Naytronix (bassist co-founder/baby daddy of Tune-Yards) and put out a pair of psychedelic art pop singles. Reed Fox (vox/engineer/production) Ben Weirich (synths/drums/production) and Kris Becker (synths/production) flew out to Oakland and spent two days at Botcave studio with Nate Brenner and whipped up two tasty tunes. The workflow consisted of all parties improvising together until something good popped out. When all the integral pieces of song were formed, all that needed to be done was putting the puzzle together. By the end of the weekend, after many snacks were munched, two full songs had been written and recorded. After some additional production and mixing back in Denver, the songs were ready for ears around the worlds. Listen to the two collaborations “Eyelash Sky” and “U.R.theoneichoose”.

ELECTRIC SUGAR
Here's a snippet from a companion zine of poetry I made while making this record. Enjoy!
LYRICS
Feeling quite strange and there’s too much talk,
Never lookin back and never lookin' far
What do you have within your creases
Bluesy chains of phosphorous, esoteric
Whole step past that half way holy man waitin on a tin can,
Disappear through the thin lit hologram
Beggin for another chance,
Feel the pulse and peel the blindfold
Welcome to the big show
I didn’t know you didn’t know
Didn’t know you didn’t know
Indigo tribal, electro organo, pop gem
