What to Expect at Moon Magnet
Vocal sessions
You've got a beat or a finished instrumental and you need vocals that sound like they belong on it. Most vocal recording sessions here run 2 to 4 hours: warm up, track the leads, stack the harmonies and doubles, comp the best takes before you leave
Full band sessions
Drums, bass, guitars, keys, tracked live in the room or layered one instrument at a time, your call. Bands usually book a full day per 2 to 3 songs depending on how rehearsed they walk in
Album and EP projects
Multi-day bookings where we plan the whole tracking schedule with you up front, so you know what's getting recorded when and what it costs before day one

Every artist knows the feeling of hitting a perfect version of a song. Whether it was found singing in the car or the shower, our whole session approach is to replicate that feeling. Levels are set before you're tired of the song. The headphone mix gets dialed until it feels right to you, not just to us. And nobody's watching a clock over your shoulder, because you'll know your hours and we’ll plan out your session before it even starts
